The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose Thursday to its 18th record in 21 days.
The price increased 2.6 cents to $4.822, its largest daily increase since Feb. 2 when it rose 2.8 cents.
CA gets about 50% of it’s gasoline supply from U.S. sources which means the other half is imported. Even though Russia’s crude oil supply does not have any direct link to uur pumps, they are still connected on a global level.
The cheapest prices around Southern CA are in San Bernardino which are a quarter away from $5 a gallon.
