Russia MOD reports return of 52700 people to Artsakh from Armenia

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reports that Russian peacekeepers are controlling the ceasefire regime and conducting round-the-clock monitoring of the situation at 27 observation posts in the territory of Artsakh.

“The ceasefire regime is being maintained along the entire length of the line of contact. Russian peacekeepers are ensuring the safe return of citizens to their permanent places of residence and the restoration of civil infrastructures and providing humanitarian aid to the population. Over the past day, 19 refugees returned to Artsakh from Armenia. Since November 4, 2020, a total of 52,700 people have returned to their homes in Nagorno-Karabakh,” the ministry’s press release reads.
