Armenia and Azerbaijan have not yet held discussions on the maps that are the basis for border demarcation. This was reported to Sputnik Armenia by the press service of the RA Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure.
“At the moment there is no discussion on the maps that are the basis of demarcation. At the same time, we consider it important to comprehensively analyze the documents which are the legal basis for the right of ownership of the territory, based on the fundamental principles of international law,” the response of the RA Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure says.
The ministry also said that the next meeting of the Committee on Border Demarcation and Security will be held in Brussels in November 2022.
