Alternative road Armenia-Artsakh to be opened from April 1

The unpaved section of the alternative road connecting Armenia with Artsakh was ready about 20-25 days ago. Sona Harutyunyan, press secretary of the Armenian Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, said.

“After that the first layer of asphalt was laid. We still have places where the process of laying the second layer of asphalt has already begun. The road will be open for traffic from April 1, and before the summer there will already be a fully asphalted road, with three layers of asphalt, equipped with road signs,” said Harutyunyan.
