23-year-old Gor Asatryan fought with 6 soldiers against a group of 50 people

As a result of Azerbaijan’s aggression against the sovereign territory of Armenia, Lieutenant Gor Asatryan was killed in one of the Armenian combat positions located in Vardenis on September 14.

Gor Asatryan was from Lchavan village, Gegharkunik marz.

Gor Asatryan studied at the Vazgen Sargsyan Military University, was appointed a company commander in Karvachar, and participated in the 44-day war.

“He fought with 6 soldiers of his company against a 50-member group of the enemy. He waged a heroic struggle and fell a hero’s death. He had a smile on his face, a kind, good person. He did a lot for the army, he was a true soldier of the motherland,” said Lyova Gevorgyan head of Lchavan village.
